Electricity Courses
Electrics for Gas Engineers
The spread of courses have been designed for the benefit of Gas Engineers with a limited knowledge of Electrical Principles who work on Domestic and/or Non-Domestic gas installations/appliances containing electrical components.
As a first step, all candidates with limited or no electrical experience will require to complete the Foundation Course. Candidates with electrical experience or who have successfully completed the foundation course, may progress to courses covering specific domestic and commercial appliances.
The eventual aim of the courses is to provide the gas engineer with the skill and knowledge to install and commission electrical components such as timers and controls as well as carrying out electrical fault finding safely when working on gas installations/appliances.
