This Gas Safety Assessment is designed to test the gas safety competence of an operative in the work of install and exchanging commercial low pressure diaphragm and rotary displacement meters by practical and knowledge and understanding assessment.

Range of appliances covered:  Primary meter installations incorporating diaphragm or rotary displacement meters with badged capacity exceeding 6m³/h (212ft³/h) but not exceeding 1076m³/h (3800ft³/h) on installations where the inlet pressure under normal gas supply conditions does not exceed 75 mbar and a meter regulator is to be installed.

Entry Qualification

Candidates must hold one of the following Core qualifications:

• COCN1
• CMA1/MET2
• CESP1

In addition to the above they must also hold:

• ICPN1
• TPCP1 or 1A
